In my free time before WWDC: Minecraft server: Announcement that the world of anime ARIA will be available.
ARIAは日常系といわれるアニメのジャンルに属します。火星をテラフォーミングした後にベネチアを丸ごと持ってきた格好のネオベネチアがお話の舞台です。今行っているのは、そのネオベネチアをマインクラフト風にリアルに再現するプロジェクトです。
ARIA belongs to the genre of animation called daily life. The stage of the story is Neo-Venezia, where the whole Venezia was brought after terraforming Mars. What I’m doing now is a project to realistically reproduce that Neo-Venezia in a Minecraft style.

The depth of Japanese manga lies in the method of cutting out everyday life to stimulate the reader’s thoughts and bring out their emotions.
悪と善の対立や、何か目標を達成するヒーロー的行動といったアニメの脚本は日本ではもう古いものとされています。
Anime scripts, such as the conflict between good and evil, and heroic actions to achieve some goal, are already old in Japan.
ARIAの世界では、我々の日常の在り方こそを大切にします。つまり実存主義的だと思います。日々は自然によって贈られた物です。自らのものとして受け入れるときにそれをゴミくずとみるのか、宝物とみるのかという点が大切なのです。
In the world of ARIA, we value our daily lives. I think it’s existentialist. Every day is a gift of nature. When you accept the days as your own, the important thing is whether you see it as garbage or as a treasure.
こういう理由があるために漫画やアニメは、日本の著者や監督がその世界観全てを独自に作り上げるという点で、大人もまた見るくらいの考え深い価値があるのです。
It’s for this reason that manga and anime are so thoughtful and worth watching even for adults, to the point that Japanese authors and directors create their own worldviews entirely.
