NEC VersaproのHackintoshが、意外にもうまくいって、嫁の実家先でもとても快調でした。そこで、暇つぶしにステッカーシールを作ってみました。

The NEC Versapro Hackintosh worked surprisingly well, and was very pleasant at my wife’s parents’ place. So I made some sticker stickers to pass the time.

　日本では少し前に「意識高い系」という属性の人が、MacBookProをスターバックスで、これ見よがしに披露するショーがありました。つまりは、スコットギャロウェイが言っていた、「私は、金持ちでイケています。」という性的アピールです。

　Not long ago in Japan, there was a show where people with the attribute of “conscious kei” showed off their MacBookPros at Starbucks in a showy way.
　In other words, as Scott Galloway said, “I’m rich and I’m hot.” It’s sexual appeal.

　そこで、私は「意識高い系」ではなく「知識高い系」として、小さなデモをしました。
　私が中古で買ったパソコン＝NECのVersaproは＄８０程度です。MacBookPro2016モデルとして動かせました。価格の差は同じ中古価格で10倍もあります。
　So I gave a small demo, not as a “conscious” person, but as a “knowledgeable” person.
　I bought a used computer = NEC Versapro for about $80. It could run as a Hackintosh as a MacBookPro 2016 model. The difference in price is 10x for the same used price.

　彼らが「意識高い系」として、アップル社の製品をブランドを手にして性的アピールをするなら、私は、反対に安価なほぼ同等の中古ノートパソコンをHackintoshして「知識高い系」としてアピールしましょう。
　そして、巨大になりすぎたGAFAの問題をみんなに考えてほしいのです。

　If they’re going to be “conscious” and take Apple’s products as a brand and make them sexually appealing, I, on the other hand, will hackintosh a cheap, nearly equivalent used laptop and make it appealing as “knowledgeable”.
　And I want everyone to think about the problem of GAFA, which has become too huge.

私は、そのステッカーを安いHackintoshノートパソコンに張り、スターバックスに行きました。1人だけの小さなデモです。
I put the sticker on my cheap Hackintosh laptop and went to Starbucks. I gave a small demonstration, just one person.
